Goalkeeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham could have been six goals down at Bournemouth but for him. Crucial performance, delivered and displayed real class. Excellent keeping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. A loss could have dismantled their entire term.
Defensive unit
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for top performer. People will talk Arsenal's squad. He has been the best performer by far.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a mad supporter to say 'He scores and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got long shots on that. He shone. He's becoming a powerhouse. He can really be a challenge. Pleased to watch him perform as he did previously.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him several occasions last year in Italy for AC Milan and he was getting killled due to errors. However with the Magpies he's been a monster. He has shown great strength and imposing and seems polished. It seems he has discovered a perfect fit.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a defender, leaning towards a modern type in attack. He's been a wonderful signing for Brighton. It's no shock at them finding another gem from obscurity? I thought releasing Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the club is aware what they're doing.
Midfielders
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they are selected for the identical cause. Their clubs triumphed, all discuss the scorers, but absent these individuals the squads falter. They are so good. They disrupt opposition, they attack together.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. Numerous supporters, including my son, expressed skepticism whether he was the man to secure victory. Three goals in the local rivalry and supporters now wish to honor him permanently of him. Goals, composure, he controlled the game. The top performer on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only point of agreement with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it's going to be very difficult to drop Morgan Rogers. I felt he had a great start the term, I believe he was a little bit entitled and hoped he might have got a move to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he appears to have settled down. A brilliant brace clearly versus Leeds dragged his team from behind. He proved decisive.
Strikers
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he doesn't look his normal self. He looked like he was slower. Yet amazing. That's all I can say. He performed superbly. Brilliant in his play and with his two finishes.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A particularly intriguing player. He plays well, often more effective as a substitute, but with Gordon sidelined so he is required to feature. He missed a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. But to have the psychological strength to place himself into tough scenarios and score twice was impressive.
Boss
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and surpasses Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. Possibly it was several more for Forest and all would agree.
