The House investigative committee has published a batch of roughly 70 images from the estate of deceased convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third disclosure from a cache of more than 95,000 images the panel has secured from Epstein's property. It contains pictures of passages from the literary work Lolita written across a woman's body, and redacted pictures of women's foreign passports.

This action occurs mere hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the Justice Department to disclose all files related to its investigation into Epstein.

"These latest photographs raise more inquiries about precisely what the DOJ has in its holdings," stated the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Disclosed

Some of the photos released on this week feature Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky inside a personal aircraft; Bill Gates positioned alongside a woman whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a table facing Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the latest affluent, powerful men to be photographed in Epstein property photos disclosed by the committee - earlier published images also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photographs is is not considered proof of any wrongdoing, and many of the pictured men have said they were in no way participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release accompanying the photograph disclosure, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate's representatives did not supply background information or timings for the photographs.

"Photos were selected to offer the American people with openness into a representative sample of the photographs obtained from the estate, and to give insights into Epstein's circle and his exceptionally disturbing actions," the release reads.

The release also includes a number of photos of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita inscribed in dark ink across various areas of a female's body, like her torso, foot, hipbone, and rear. Lolita narrates the story of a adolescent who was exploited by a older literature professor.

An example of a excerpt from the book written across a female's torso says, "Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the roof of the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a series of images of female passports and official papers from countries worldwide, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the data on the documents, including names and DOBs, is redacted but the committee indicated in a press release that the passports pertain to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".

A further photo depicts Epstein sitting at a desk intimately flanked by three female figures whose features have been obscured - one has her palm on Epstein's chest under his garment, and another individual is crouching to examine a nearby laptop. Epstein seems to be helping the third individual fasten a bracelet.

An additional photo disclosed is a capture of text messages from an unidentified person who claims they have been sent "a number of girls" and are demanding "$1000 for each individual".

Image Publication Arrives Ahead of DOJ Deadline

The committee has a vast number of images in its possession from the Epstein holdings, which are "both disturbing and everyday," its announcement on this week explained.

The House Oversight Committee first subpoenaed the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and documents the Epstein property provided to the body are distinct from what is commonly referred to "Epstein-related records". That material are records in the justice department's custody associated with its separate probe into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President enacted last month, the DOJ has until 19 December to publish its files. The full nature of the contents found in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's probable that much of the material will be extensively obscured, similar to House Oversight Committee documents
