A ranking policeman that leaped to the assistance of a partner that got attacked by a knife attacker has been awarded the Royal Recognition for Bravery.
Sgt Tim Ansell struggled against 27-yr-old Jacob Brown following he placed a knife to the neck of his colleague Sgt Marc Foster.
